i dreamt that i was sensitive to light, and i couldn’t face towards the window or to my phone, i knew my boss slacked me and i tried reading it but it was just blank. the weird thing was i tried covering my eyes and i can see through my hands. i even remembered asking siri on my phone to ask chatgpt what was going on. and the oddest part about that is i was using siri.
played on the nature of daylight by Max Richter on repeat. it was used in Arrival (2016) and Shutter Island (2010) two films with really good endings. the kind that stays with you for a few days, even weeks. it was written as a protest against the 2003 Iraq War and a meditation on personal and societal violence.
What I wanted to try and do was try and create something which had a sense of luminosity and brightness, but made from the darkest possible materials
