it's my last day in SF for probably a long time. i wanted to visit a thrift store and get one piece of clothing — something i can wear as an outer layer, a casual jacket. i searched for thrift stores and found moody vintage to be a potential spot. from the hotel i walked along polk street, making a stop at Hoi An 1608 for pho. it was a darn good bowl. i ultimately did find a nice denim jacket by Carhartt. my last stop was russian hill book store, but just as i entered and started browsing i got pinged for work, and rushed back to the hotel to lock in.
i ordered echigo home cook curry to W's house, packed some stuff into the small luggage i bought, and then went to the airport. on the plane i read advice on upskilling by Justin Skycak. it was a good reminder about the importance of consistency, how to build skills, how to learn etc.
